Hi, I am Chef Zara. In this post, I will guide you through the Toaster Oven Cookbooks.

I love discovering new food and cooking with friends and family. One of the most common questions that I often get is for cookbook recommendations. I have created this guide for friends, family, and new friends alike. I hope that you enjoy our site.

Everyone should have one!

Initially, the toaster oven was designed to supplement the conventional oven but on a much smaller and more efficient scale. It is full of little buttons and nobs that let you toast, bake, broil, and warm. It comes with an easy-to-clean, side-out tray; it fits conveniently on your countertop right next to your coffee maker and will preheat in a fraction of the time of your conventional oven. It is the perfect solution for those coming home after a long day of work and who are just looking for something easy that will get their food ready quickly and not require extensive clean-up afterward. This compact gem will still reheat your pizza, cook up a hot dog, and of course, toast your toast; however, as is demonstrated in the following cookbooks, it continues to do much more, and it remains a must-have in any kitchen.

Check out our top 10 Toaster Oven Cookbooks!

1. 101 Things to Do with a Toaster Oven

Why We Love It ❤️

The throwback design of this toaster oven cookbook harkens back to the early days of the toaster oven and bringing on a wonderful sense of nostalgia in the process. In addition to the aesthetics, the author, Donna Kelly, makes sure to include a wide variety of vegetarian options for those looking to avoid meat, pork, and chicken.

Review 📖

This toaster oven cookbook is bare-bones in its presentation, and we are fine with that. Kelly does a wonderful job of keeping things simple without all the bells and whistles, which many readers who are not looking to be overwhelmed will find very appealing. The recipes consist of an essential ingredients list and easy-to-follow directions designed to help you achieve a delicious meal in a snap. With side dishes like Chicken enchilada stacks, heavenly halibut, and baked chicken curry, you’ll feel like you’re a worldly chef.

3. Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven Cookbook for Beginners

Why We Love It ❤️

Jenny Frank’s toaster oven cookbook provides all of the basics to put together some very flavorful dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but Frank has also taken into account the vegetarian and vegan community with a long list of culinary options.

Review 📖

As the title states, this is a cookbook for beginners, but that doesn’t mean that the recipes are overly bland and basic. Of course, we know about using a toaster oven for those simple and quick snacks like Pepperoni roll-ups, hot dogs, and french fries, but we had not considered the elaborate broiled flank steak with herb oil, classic rack of lamb, and even vegan yogurt cornbread, yet those unique offerings and many more are available here in Jenny Frank’s toaster oven cookbook. Jenny also provides more basic instructional advice about cleaning, safety tips, and rationale as to why the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven is a step above the rest.

Review 📖

Sandy Crawford has gone above and beyond here with this toaster oven cookbook. Besides the detailed tutorial on the toaster oven itself, how it works, tips, and matters that need attention, she follows with not 100 recipes; not 200 recipes, not even 300 recipes. Sandy Crawford has put together a remarkable 800 recipes for your dining pleasure! From cinnamon rolls and bagels to more complex dishes like oat and walnut salmon and turkey tetrazzini with mushrooms, this cookbook does not disappoint. And, of course, don’t forget the bread pudding and cinnamon oatmeal cookies!

8. Toaster Oven Perfection

Why We Love It ❤️

What’s not to love about America’s Test Kitchen? Year after year, they have proven to be an authority in the product testing space and have now continued that excellence with this toaster oven cookbook.

Review 📖

With this being a very helpful book by America’s Test Kitchen, you can expect a masterclass in every toaster oven, and that’s precisely what they provide. But in addition to detailing all the possibilities of this countertop workhorse, including the anatomy of the toaster oven and extensive, side-by-side testing of all the top brands, they provide you with fantastic recipes for any occasion, morning, noon, or night. From their sheet pan meals with eggs, toast, biscuits, sausage, and potatoes to their Roasted boneless short rib, roasted chicken breasts, spice-crusted sirloin steak, and no broil baked ziti, the magicians at ATK deliver.

Review 📖

It is clear that Rachael Gerbert is dedicated to the finer points and is passionate about her toaster oven cookbook. Not only does she rave about her Black and Decker toaster oven, its many features; its convenience of it; the ease of cleaning, but she has also created and developed some of the tastiest recipes as well. From Dijon Rosemary chicken breasts minted balsamic lamb chops to lemon torte with cream cheese frosting for dessert, Gerbert has left no stone unturned. This toaster oven cookbook will be an excellent addition to your kitchen!

10. 150 Best Toaster Oven Recipes

Why We Love It ❤️

We love just how Linda Stephen draws upon her years as both a professional chef and culinary school owner to create 150 recipes that are not only easy to make but also will satisfy even the most demanding food critic.

Review 📖

This is a time when we must think of quality over quantity. Even though professional chef Linda Stephen’s toaster oven cookbook may not offer as many recipes as other cookbooks on this list, it is the quality of her best recipes that puts her over the top. Linda does not see the toaster oven as a gimmick item sitting next to the coffee maker; she equates it to the very professional oven that she’s prepared high-end dishes in for years, and so she treats it as such. Whether it is the quick and easy items like deli tuna melts or BBQ meatballs or a delicacy like Salmon on Satay, Linda doesn’t hesitate to give her big convection oven the night off in favor of her handy toaster oven.

Final thoughts

The toaster oven has been a mainstay on the countertops of many a home for decades. Even though this little invention started as a limited supplement to the conventional oven, it has progressed to become something of a necessity for its tiny stature, capabilities, and convenience. It is not overly complicated. These toaster oven cookbooks have demonstrated that these small appliances can kick out many of the same tasty dishes as any conventional oven. They do so more quickly and efficiently, making life that much easier for those just coming home from a long-days haul and who are on the hunt for something quick without all the mess. There are many cookbooks about toaster ovens written by Asian and American magazines; due to the popularity of this electrical appliance, we hope you have found the Toaster Oven cookbook that fits what you need.
